Common Questions About Godot Fundamentals Training
Got questions? We’ve got answers about our hands-on Godot engine training in Wollongong.
Not at all. Our 8-week Essentials Bootcamp is designed for complete beginners. We start from scratch with the Godot editor and GDScript basics. If you’ve coded before in any language, you’ll move through the fundamentals even faster.
The Essentials Bootcamp covers the core concepts you need—editor navigation, scenes, nodes, and GDScript fundamentals—across 8 weeks. The 2D Game Development course assumes you already know these basics and focuses specifically on building complete 2D games with physics, animation, and UI systems.
Our training is structured as intensive cohort-based programs, so you’ll learn alongside others on a set schedule. This keeps you accountable and gives you a community to learn from. However, all course materials remain yours after completion, so you can revisit and practice independently whenever you want.
Yes. In the Essentials Bootcamp, you’ll build multiple small projects that reinforce each concept. In the 2D Game Development course, you’ll complete full, playable games including platformers and top-down adventures. These projects go into your portfolio right away.
Godot is completely free and open-source. You can use it commercially without paying royalties or fees—that’s one of its biggest advantages over other engines. We focus on open-source tools because we believe they empower creators to own their work.
You’ll have finished games or projects to show employers or publishers, course materials to reference, and the skills to keep learning independently. We also connect you with our alumni community. If you want to go deeper, we offer Advanced GDScript Programming and specialization tracks beyond the bootcamp.
